The Halve Waste Education Program has been designed to encourage all age groups to reduce waste generation, increase recycling and decrease waste to landfill. This competition is free to enter and open to anyone living within any Halve Waste Council area, The competition is open for entry from February 18 until March 31, 2021. All winners are selected at random and will be published on the Halve Waste Facebook page by April 5th, 2021and will be notified directly by email.

Halve Waste was founded by Albury City Council, City of Wodonga, Federation Council and the Shires of Greater Hume and Indigo.

The Halve Waste program implements local solutions to reduce all wastes to landfill by 80% by 2030, which aligns with the State Government targets.

As a region, we all support the goals of Halve Waste and collaborate to achieve these goals.
